Like Father, Like Son

Well the three of us just returned home from a wrestling meet. No, Aiden did not wrestle. He is however dressed to take anyone down in his XXXS wrestling attire. I think this makes his dad rather happy...

Here are some pictures that I forgot last time, but I think that others will truly appreciate!

As you can see we take things rather seriously around here!

Currently he enjoys eating pears, grapes and "nana's"-sorry Carole. He does not like most veggies, however he enjoys an old fashioned fist full of dip. Otherwise he tends to eat what we're having.

He knows where his head, eyes, nose, teeth, belly and feet are. His favorite word right now is "no". He enjoys saying no when I ask him something, laughs and runs in the opposite direction. As I am writng this it sounds rather funny, but believe me it gets irritating quickly:)

Aiden sucessfully survived the holiday season with ease. He has been playing outside in the snow a lot. He enjoys sledding and making a snowman and knocking it down. During one snow day the three of us decided to make and decorate Christmas cookies. I think Aiden ate more frosting than he actually put on the cookies. Don't worry we did not give those cookies to anyone, so all of you are safe! He absolutely loved the Christmas tree ornaments located on the bottom of the tree. I woke him up one morning and he was still holding onto one. I don't know how he snuck that to bed the night before. The little stinker!

So here we are, it's officially Fall 2007. Aiden started school and has made many new friends. He loves it. He paints, dances, sings, plays and goes for walks with his friends.

At home he continues to terrorize the cats and pull the toilet paper from the roll. If we leave him for 30 seconds and come back the entire roll is all over the place including on himself. It's sort of funny.

Over the past few weekends we have done many fun things together. We went to Hampton Beach, made cookies-he licked his first wooden spoon and we went to Chuck E Cheese. What exciting lives we now live!! But more importantly, Aiden has already made it known that he likes wrestling!!!
Last week Aiden finally hit the 20 lb. mark and we were able to turn his carseat around. He enjoys chucking toys at us while driving and stiil manages to laugh at the same time...

End of Summer 07'

Well unfortunately Summer is winding down, sad but true. Aiden still keeps busy though talking on his cell phone with family and friends. He must be over his minutes by now! We went to Pawtuckaway where he loves to let loose. He enjoys playing in the sand and destroying other people's castles, walking on the hiking trails with a walking stick and of course playing in the water.

During rainy days he nestles up on the couch to watch his favorite TV program Backyardagains, 64 Zoo Lane and Wonder Pets all on Noggin. Currently he continues to be a picky eater, but if he likes something lookout. He officially ate an entire hot dog the other day. What a pig! He also enjoys green beans and corn on the cob.

Before bed he brushes his teeth with his new Thomas the Train toothbrush that plays music. He giggles the entire time and cannot brush long enough. Next time I write he will have probably started daycare again.

Aiden's Trip to Lincoln NH 2007

The three of us stayed in Lincoln NH for 4 days. We travelled the Kangamangus Highway, went in for a quick dip at one of the pools along the river (Lower Falls), we hiked the Flume, hiked Glenn Ellis Falls, saw Mt Washington, Todd went on the zip line at Wildcat Mt and we met up with our friends at Echo Lake State Park. What an amazing view of Cannon Mt and Franconia Notch. Aiden had a wonderful time.

2006-2007 Summer Review

Better late than never, but as always we are playing catch up with technology. I'm pretty impressed with myself for never doing this before. Last summer was Aiden's first summer in which we attempted and survived many adventurous activites. Some would even say stupid.

  1. We took him camping a few times and even almost got eaten by a bear. No kidding!
  2. We took him hiking and saw beautiful waterfalls in NH.
  3. More imporantly we introduced him to our pool. I think I still have the claw marks..
