Let's see so much has happened since the last time I posted. Aiden has now lost 4 teeth! The week after Christmas he lost his two front teeth. Actually, one was lost in a fierce nerf sword battle between Todd and Aiden-Whoops! Aiden played soccer this past fall, and he is currently wrestling-sort of cute:) He began kindergarten, and is doing great! His best friend is Camdyn.

Summer 2011

Aiden had his first friends sleepover at Jimmy's house the first weekend of July and his second t the Romo's in August! We have gone camping 4 times and took Jimmy with us to Moosehill. They loved the place. This summer we went to the beach, watched around Boston a few times, camped, visited friends, went to the Splashpad many times, enjoyed Canobie Lake, and many playgrounds! He lost his second tooth towards the beginning of August 2011 and of course lost it again. The toothfairy continues to leave him $1 gold coin though!

Catch Up Time

Lets me see. Many things to catch everyone up on, so here we go!

Aiden celebrated his 5th birthday in April. He had a Phineas and Ferb themed party and invited all of his friends. (Jimmy, Janya, Joon, Ellie, Brayden, Brison, Sam, Aubrey,Paxton, Austin, Kallie, Talon, Gavin and Olyvia). I think the kids had a blast! They played in the backyard for about 10 minutes waiting for everyone to arrive. They had to write their name and decorate a bag for their loot in which they would later take home. There were a few different maned stations. Since Phineas and Ferb are adventurous and enjoy using their imagination and inventing things that is what we did! The stations were: make your own slime and choose your own color, make your own playdoh with your favorite color, molocule fun: using mini marshmellows and toothpicks they created their own designs, magnifying station-different items were laid out and each child was given a magnifying glass to look at the items, sand art in which they filled an item, magnet station 1:they had to find certain items in the sand only by using magnets, magnets 2: boat races, make your own snow. After the stations we played pin the hat on Agent P aka Perry the Platapus. This was followed by a pinata and a diet soda rocket set off with mentos. The kids later enjoyed Dr. Doofensmirf's ice cream sundanator ice cream bar. They got to choose their own toppings. The party was a hit!

On May 9th 2011 Aiden lost his first tooth. We had steak that night, and later that night the four off us went out shopping. Aiden looked at me, and I said hey look at me again. In a high pitched voice I said, "what, when did that happen"? Of course he had no idea what I was talking about. Todd ran over to see if everything was ok, and asked what was going on? I had Aiden smile and both Todd and lost it. When did you lose your tooth buddy? I think Aiden was shocked, because he had no idea. Long story short, he lost his tooth. Actually he probably swallowed it while eating dinner. Aiden's main concern: well, if my tooth is missing, how will the tooth fairy no I lost my tooth? We ended up writing her a note. She must have found the note, because the next morning a most excited boy woke up to a golden dollar next to his head!

In June Aiden graduated from Pre-K. He attended Stand By Me since he was 2 years old. The school had the younger kids come out and sing about how much they will miss the older kids. Then the pre-K kids came out said the pledge, and sang a few songs. Then they showed what they new. They each wore a cute puple paper hat with a yellow string tassel. When their teacher Ms. Kim said his name, he ran up to her, jumped up, and gave her a big hug! There was a slideshow and of course cake.

World's Best Big Brother-WBBB

Now that things have settled SUBSTAINTIALLY and Aiden is once again himself, he is the World's Best Big Brother, (WBBB). He wants to help out in every way that he can, except to change his sisters diapers.

Aiden had a fantastic Christmas! We bought him ski lessons over holiday break. That was comical! He is interested in monster trucks, superhero's, loves to help cook, pirates, lego's, and he reads almost every night before bed. He can identify all upper/lower case letters, and knows about half of the letter sounds. He can write his name, but needs work on the size and spacing. He enjoys being a big brother. January 2011 brought a lot of snow, almost 40 inches in 3 storms. We build an awesome sledding trail down the hill to the backyard. It reminds me of a luge!

Aiden's Feelings

Aiden completed a book project at school that talked about what makes him feel certain ways.

He feels excited when: I go to the 99!

He feels angery when: there are bee's around.

He feels happy when: the sun is out.

He feels sad when: he gets a splinter.

I think this is cute enough to keep. Who knew the 99 made him excited. I think we have only taken him twice.

The month of October has been a busy one full of family activities. We went to the World Chili Championship held in Manchester. It was unbelievable! Aiden actually likes chili now, go figure.

We also had the opportunity to go to the Ipswich MA chowderfest with Nanny & Grampy. They had fun free games for kids, and each game kids played they received a prize. Aiden could not ask for anything more! We also enjoyed going apple picking with Aiden's friend Jayna and pumpkin picking with Chip and his family. Of course we went to the annual Pumpkin Regatta in Goffstown. Again, soooo many free activities for kids. Aiden painted a pumpkin and took it home for free, carved a pumpkin, made a face mask, and watched pumpkins being catapaulted into the river. All of this and it's not even Halloween yet:)
